Claude “Marty” Martin McMillin, Jr., 62, of Beaumont, passed away on March 3, 2020.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 9, 2020, at Claybar Kelley Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont. Officiating will be Pastor Wayne Werner and Pastor Jessie Wright. Burial will follow at Haven of Rest Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m., prior to the service, at Claybar Kelley Watkins Funeral Home.

Born in Beaumont, Texas, on March 19, 1957, he was the son of Claude Martin McMillin, Sr. and Juanita (Bond) McMillin. Marty loved fishing, motorcycles, and blues music. He enjoyed playing the guitar and being surrounded by all those he loved most. Marty was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be dearly missed by all those who came to know and love him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude Sr. and Juanita McMillin; and granddaughter, Lily Juanita.

He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Martha Werner McMillin of Beaumont; children, Shawn McMillin of Nederland, Kimberly Schartz and husband Joe of Beaumont, Adam McMillin and wife Kristen of Maryville, Tennessee, and adopted son, Donnie Martin of Nederland; grandchildren, Caden McMillin, Cameron McMillin, Sarah Henry, Rebekah Henry, Jacob Henry, Joseph Schartz. Anna Schartz, Abbey Graham, Izabella McMillin, and Broady McMillin; and sisters, Susan Landis and husband Charles, and Diana Allen and husband Danny, all of Deridder, Louisiana; along with numerous other loving family members.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to his niece, Marty Marie Baker of Deridder, for all the loving help and compassion during the time of his illness, we love you so much.
