Clifford ?Ray? Hyman, 67, of Orange, died, Monday, October 8, 2007, at DuBuis Hospital in Port Arthur. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 11, 2007, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. Reverend David Berkheimer of Community Church in Orange will officiate. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home. Ray was born October 11, 1939, in Lake City, SC, the son of James Hoyt and Mae T. Belk Hyman. Ray was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Sabine Aerie #2523 of Orange, and loved to be involved in fundraisers. Ray joined the Eagles in 1993 and held the following positions: Chairman of Trustee and Inside Guard as well as District One Trustee and Trial Committee.He was preceded in death by his parents and five brothers. He is survived by his son, Rick Hyman and wife Laurie, his daughter, Tammy Martin and husband Arthur, all of Orange, brother, W. R. Hyman of Elgin, SC, sisters, Margie Love of Kingstree, SC and Sally Mejia of CA.
