Clyde E. Teal

Clyde E. Teal, 106, of Orange, Texas died Saturday, November 6, 2010, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 10, 2010, at First United Pentecostal Church in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Gary Wheeler. Burial will follow at Wilkinson Cemetery in Orange.

Visitation will be from 5:00-9:00 p.m., Tuesday at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Born in Orange, Texas on September 26, 1904, Clyde was the son of Emma Hilliard and Eugene Lester Teal. He served in the National Guard during World War II. Also, Clyde owned and operated Teal Construction.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Martha Teal; second wife, Mildred Teal; sons, Clyde Teal, Jr., Elmore Teal; step-son, Windell Fruge; step-grandson, Randy Marshall; and several brothers and sisters.

Clyde is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Lee and Mary Teal of Waco, David and Kim Teal of Harker Heights, Jim and Carolyn Teal of Fayett, Missouri; daughter, Myna Morris of Brady; step-daughters, Lidwyn Marshall and her husband Pat, and Sherry Huckaby, all of Orange; and step-son, Dean Dyson and his wife Anita, also of Orange.

He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; and sisters, Ruth Hobden of Deweyville, and Myna Stewart of Missouri City.

Serving as Pallbearers will be John Morris, Bill Morris, Mike Morris, Josh Dyson, Jason Dyson, and Terry Huckaby.

I have not seen Uncle Clyde since my Aunt Martha died. I remember him so well from my days as a little girl.
