Cody Crabtree, 26, of Beaumont, died Friday, April 12, 2013. He was born July 4, 1986 in Beaumont to Margie Allen and John Crabtree. He was a member of the Silsbee High School Class of 2004 and was currently employed as an independent title abstractor covering ten counties in southeast Texas.

Cody loved fishing, hunting and golfing and was an excellent cook.

He is survived by his mother, Margie Allen, of Beaumont; father, John Crabtree of Porter, Texas; step-father, Brian Rushing, of Beaumont; brothers, Jarad Allen, of Georgia, and Keith Rushing, of Beaumont; sisters, Jennifer Allen, of Florida, and Lauren Rushing, of Beaumont; and uncle, Ron Marshall, of Jasper.

Cody was preceded in death by his stepfather Mike Allen, "Big Mike", and grandparents, Doyle and Minnie Lee Crabtree of Evadale, Texas and Gilbert and Lavalle Marshall of Jasper, Texas.

A gathering of Cody's family and friends will be Monday, April 15, 2013 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A celebration of Cody's life will be held at Wesley United Methodist Church, 3810 N. Major Dr., Beaumont, Texas, Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Haven of Rest Cemetery.
