Corporal Jeremy Michael Pavlich

1999 ∼ 2025

Corporal Jeremy Michael Pavlich

Corporal Jeremy Michael Pavlich, 25, died on April 30, 2025, in Fort Cavazos, Texas, where he was a Cavalry Scout in the U.S. Army at Fort Cavazos. He was born in Beaumont, Texas, on October 23, 1999. Jeremy was raised by his mother Karin and stepfather Douglas Klein. Jeremy grew up in Vidor, Texas; Charleston, South Carolina; Honolulu, Hawaii; Kittery, Maine; and Louisville, Kentucky, where he graduated from Ballard High School and attended Jefferson Community & Technical College. He spent part of most summers in Vidor, Texas, with his grandparents and cousins. He played the trumpet and was chosen as the bugler for his unit in basic training.

When Jeremy became interested in a subject, he studied it thoroughly. As a child, he was fascinated by trains and military aircraft. His curious nature led him to expand his interests to military history, warcraft, and vehicles. This ultimately led to his desire to enlist in the US Army wherein he drove armored vehicles. He loved his pets, including dogs, turtles, cats, and bearded dragons. He enjoyed listening to music, dancing, playing video games, traveling, and socializing. Jeremy had a great sense of humor. He enjoyed practical jokes, drawing comics, and was proud of his Mexican heritage. He was loyal, thoughtful, kind, and fun. Jeremy was empathetic to others, always willing to help someone without question, and the life of every party. His unique and infectious personality drew others to him.

Jeremy is survived by his wife Nikki Pavlich; mother Karin Klein; father Jeremy L. Pavlich; stepfather Douglas Klein; stepmother Monica Pavlich; and half-brothers Clay Klein and Luke Pavlich. He is also survived by his grandparents, Thomas and Linda Hoffpauir, Sharon Klein, Erv and Linda Klein, Tracy and Bill MacKenzie, and Hector Rivera, as well as aunts, uncles, and many cousins, all of whom, along with his friends, will miss him terribly.

A memorial service will be held on May 24 at 2 pm at Claybar Funeral Home, 1155 North 11th St., Beaumont, Texas with a Celebration of Life immediately following at Brentwood Country Club in Beaumont, Texas.

It was an honor to serve with you. One of the funniest guys to be around. You had a good heart, and were always the life of the party. I’ll miss you, and I love you. Rest In Peace, brother.
