Coy Edwin Long

Coy Edwin Long, 66, was born November 3, 1946 in DeQueen, AR to Odos D. and Melba DeShazo Long and passed away April 14, 2013 in Beaumont, TX. Coy was a long-time resident of Orange prior to moving to Beaumont about 4 years ago. He was a salesman at the Oldsmobile-Cadillac dealership in Orange and also was in sales at his family's business, Long Furniture Company for many years.

A gathering of friends and family will take place at his mother's house at 5835 Calder, Beaumont, beginning at 7:30 PM, Monday, April 15.

Coy is survived by his mother, Melba DeShazo Long; son, Derrick Long; grandchildren, Kadin, Kynlee and Kamryn Long; his brother, Wes Long and his sister, Reatha Long Barina.

In lieu of floral offerings, the family requests contributions be made to Big Country Fellowship of Christian Athletes at PO Box 6605, Abilene, TX 79608 or go to Big Country FCA.org for online contributions.
