Daniel Alfred Delassus, 55, of Orange, passed away Sunday, September 30, 2012, at Baptist Orange Hospital.

Memorial Service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 13, 2012, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Cremation will be under the direction of Claybar Haven of Rest Crematory in Bridge City.

Born in Orange, Texas on September 4, 1957, Daniel was the son of Harold Reed Delassus and Henrietta Hardin Delassus.

Preceded in death by his brother, David Delassus, Daniel is survived by his wife, Christine Harris; daughter, Sasha Delassus; grandchildren, Christa Lee, James and Amera; sisters, Wanda Sparkman and Sandra McIntire; numerous nieces and nephews; and nine great nieces and nephews.
