Darrell Glenn Inman

Darrell Glenn Inman, 75, of Orange, died Thursday, January 20, 2011, at his home.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Sunday, January 23, 2011, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Pastor Kevin Inman, with Mr. Darell Clem assisting. Burial will follow at Inman Cemetery in Bon Wier, Texas at 3:30 p.m.

Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home.

Born in Bon Wier, Texas on March 31, 1935, Darrell was the son of Thomas Elmer and Verna Moore Inman. He served in the US Army, and worked maintenance at DuPont Orange. He was a member of the N.R.A. and Grace Point Fellowship Church. He loved to hunt, fish, but most of all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Benny Inman.

Darrell is survived by his wife, Betty Inman of Orange; daughter, Tracey Benoit and husband Hart of Mauriceville; sons, James Inman of Houston, and Kevin Inman and wife Becky of Orange; five grandchildren; sister, Bobbie Ashworth of Houston; and brothers, Thomas Inman and wife Melba of Newton, and Jerry Inman and wife Joyce of Newton.
