Funeral services for David Lee Fisher, 78, of Lumberton, TX, will be held on Sunday, June 7, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church of Loeb. Pastor Mark Smith will officiate and interment will follow in Memory Gardens in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, June 6 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home.

Mr. Fisher was born September 7, 1930 in Beggs, OK to Charles and Martha Fisher and passed away June 4, 2009 in Beaumont.

Mr. Fisher was a Lumberton resident for over 55 years and a long-time deacon at First Baptist Church of Loeb. He is preceded in death by his parents, 5 brothers and 4 sisters.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 58 years, Mary Ann Fisher; sons, Chris Fisher and wife, Melissa, of Beaumont and Mike Fisher and wife, Michelle, of Lumberton; grandsons, Colton and Brock Fisher, and granddaughter, Shelby Fisher.
