Funeral services for David Michael Bell, 28, of Beaumont, will be held on Friday, July 31, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the Claybar Kelley-Watkins Chapel. There will be a gathering of friends and family on Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Mr. Bell was born July 31, 1980 to Michael and Ingrid Bell. He was a stand out football and baseball athlete in high school and a star baseball player in college and as a semi-professional. He is preceded in death by grandparents Caleb and Ethlin Matthews and Albert and Winifred Francis and nephew, Michael Angel Wesley. Those left to cherish his memory are his parents; brother, Douglas Bell; sister, Lela Bell Wesley & husband, Ken; aunts, Clara, Juliet, Paulette, Donna, Joyce; Avril, and Sarah; uncle, Christopher; nieces, Sydney and Madison; and numerous cousins in London and Jamaica.
