Graveside services for David S. Stegall, Jr. will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the Claybar Haven of Rest Cemetery on Hwy 90. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, November 4, between 5:00 and 8:00 p.m. at the Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home. Mr. Stegall was born May 6, 1944 in Austin, TX to David and Bernice Stegall, Sr. and passed away on November 2, 2008 in Beaumont.

Many will remember him as the owner of Stegall Maintenance and Cleaning Business. Mr. Stegall loved hunting, fishing and camping with the family. He and his sons also loved to attend car shows, especially those featuring four wheel drive jeeps and trucks.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 44 years, Linda; sons, David Stegall, III and wife, Rene, of Lumberton, Joe Stegall and wife, Lisa, of Lumberton, Chad Stegall and wife, Jennifer, of Lumberton, Mark Stegall and wife, Dolly, of Kirbyville, and Josh Stegall and Cydni of Lumberton; grandchildren, Lexi, Britni, Logan, Raven, Skylar, Ashton, Mikalah, and Caitlyn; sister, Jo Jung of Spokane, WA; daughter-in-law, Robin Stegall; nephew, Clint Amstead and an aunt and cousins in Dallas.
