David McBride, 27, of Port Neches, passed away Monday, March 10, 2008.

A gathering of family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 14, 2008 at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont. A graveside service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Claybar Haven of Rest Cemetery.

David was born November 18, 1980 in Beaumont to Wayne McBride and Marie Davis Martin. He was a pipefitter and a very talented, self taught mechanic who loved to work on old cars. He also loved rescuing and giving pit bulls a loving home and being on the water in his fishing boat.

David is preceded in death by his father, Wayne McBride and is survived by his wife, Dana Saatzer-McBride; daughters, Kyla Brooke and Kendall Lanay McBride; mother, Marie Martin and sister, Devin Deason. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Alexis Reed, Garren Lorio II, Derrick Duncan, Jr., Brady Badget, Laynee Badget, Nora Lersch, Asha Maria Solea, Noa Solea and Adam Solea; aunts, Sendy Roy, Diane Mitchell, Wanda Miguez and Linda Warner plus many other family and friends who knew and loved David.
