David Lee Rumsey, Jr., 46, of Orange, died October 11, 2009, at his home.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 14, 2009, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend George Kidangen of St. Helen Catholic Church in Orangefield.

Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens near Bridge City.

Visitation will be from 5:00-9:00 p.m., Tuesday with a Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

David was born on September 26, 1963, in Orange, Texas. He was the son of David Lee Rumsey and Rosie Villarreal Rumsey. David enjoyed hunting and fishing and being outdoors on the river.

He was preceded in death by his father, David Lee Rumsey; grandfather, Calvin Rumsey; and grandparents, Eulalia Villarreal and Esequiel Villarreal.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy White Rumsey; mother, Rose Rumsey; grandmother, Ruth Rumsey; children, Allyssa, Chase, Cheyenne, Camryn Rumsey; sisters, Kelly Morphew and Mary Salazar; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Keith White, Lionell Ramirez, Wade Salazar, Cody Simon, Wendell Barron and John Rumsey, Jr.
