Davy Joe Spector, 53, of Newton, died Friday, May 28, 2010, in his home.

Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 12, 2010, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. Officiating will be Mr. Johnny Granger of Call Junction Cowboy Church.

Born on October 21, 1956, in Orange, Texas, Davy was the son of Willie Joe Spector and Patsy Dearmond Spector.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Sammy and Ruby Spector and Leamon and Opal Dearmond.

Davy is survived by his parents; sister, Becky Kay James of Orange; brother, Robert Allen Spector of Washingtonville, New York; and several nieces and nephews.
