Deanna Kay Ramirez, 60, of Beaumont, Texas, passed away on May 18, 2019, at St. Elizabeth Hospital.
Born in Hutchinson, Kansas, on November 14, 1958, she was the daughter of Vernon Root and Sharon Baker. Deanna cherished spending time with her family, taking in every moment that she could with them. Her grandchildren were her life and she held them close to her heart. Deanna enjoyed being outside, especially spending time at the beach. She loved helping others and had a heart made of gold. Deanna loved music and watching Youtube videos with her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all those who came to know and love her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Sharon Root.
She is survived by her children, Tristan Murphy and wife Lisa of Beaumont, Rex Murphy of Groves, Laura Ramirez of Beaumont; grandchildren, Lynwood Warren III, LaDasia McGlory, R.J. Murphy, LeLayna McGlory, Anna Murphy, John Murphy, Fiona Murphy, and Lyyla Antoine; siblings, Donna Root, Debbie Foreman, Darryl Renshaw, and Dodie Renshaw; and the love of her life and best friend Charlie the cat.
Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home.
