Debra Kay Harrington, 71, of Lumberton, Texas, passed away on October 5, 2024.

Born in Fort Worth, Texas, on November 8, 1952, she was the daughter of Ottie Mae Whiting. Debra went to

Bishop Byrne High School in Port Arthur, Tx. After school she had many jobs including being a welder, and truck

driver. Debra was a woman that never met a stranger and lived life to the fullest. She loved her son Troy more than

words can say. Debra loved her grandkids and enjoyed watching them do whatever it was they were into at the

time. Her great grandkids held a special place in her heart as well.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Ottie Mae Whiting; her brother, Bubba Cain; her uncle, Charlie Brast; and

her aunt, Evelyn Brast.

She is survived by her son, Troy Harrington and his wife Heather, her grandkids, Brandon Cruz and Anna, Aaron

Harrington and Chelsea, Ryan Harrington and Kaylee, Kristin Harrington, Hailee Harrington, Taylor Smith, and

Zoe Moore; her great grandchildren, Berlyn, Kenslee, Jacob, Connor, Haven, Carter, Aiden, Asher, Kayson,

Keeton, and Kai; and her siblings, Charles McFarland and Cindy, Sandra Wehmeyer and Dennis, Zilpha Dolezal,

Wanda Broussard, and Billie Dunn along with numerous nieces and nephews.
