Della Mae Duncan

Della Mae Duncan, 86, of Orange, died Saturday, January 23, 2010, in Orange.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 25, 2010 at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Randy Branch and Pastor Kevin Price.

Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Bridge City.

Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Sunday, at Claybar Funeral Home.

Della was born on December 14, 1923 in Lake Charles, LA. She was the daughter of Clement and Necie Marie Benoit LeBoeuf and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clement and Necie; husband, Jimmie L. Duncan; and her brother and sisters.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters and son-in-law, Brenda Ann and T. Ray Foreman of Vinton, LA and Patsy Ruth Duncan of Orange; sons and daughter-in-law, Robert Loyd and Debbie Duncan and Ronnie Boyd Duncan all of Orange; 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law and wife, George and Janet Duncan; and sister-in-law, Lola Duncan.

Dear Patsy and Family, I'm not sure if it's the realization 'that we've lost both parents' are that 'they left us in charge' that bothers me the most.
