Diane Johnson Green

Diane Johnson Green, 60, of Orange, passed away, Friday, February 29, 2008, at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Orange.

Funeral service will be 3:00 p.m., Monday, March 3, 2008, at 9th and Elm Church of Christ. Shawn Jones a family member and Barry Jones will officiate. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.

Visitation will be 4:00-8:00 p.m., Sunday at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange and 8:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. on Monday.

Diane was born December 29, 1947, in Orange to Fred Miller and Eddie Gertrude Ford Johnson.

Diane was a lifelong resident of Orange and member of 9th and Elm Church of Christ and former Sunday school teacher. She was active in her children's youth sports activities. She was a Teacher's Aide at LCM Elementary for 15 years.

Diane was a former member of the Little Cypress Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Eddie Johnson and brother Melton Johnson.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Mike Green of Orange, sons, Terry Green and wife Darla, Jeremy Green and daughter Brianne Green all of Orange; grandchildren, Slade Green, Tayler Green, Jaxon Green and Brayden Marange; and sister Betty J. Boyd of Orange and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to 9th and Elm Church of Christ, 501 9th St., Orange, Texas, 77630.
