Funeral services for Dorothy Mae Abood, 88, will be held Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael’s Orthodox Christian Church. Interment will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Friday at 5:00 p.m. with a Trisagion Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. in the Claybar Kelley-Watkins Chapel.

Dorothy was born January 2, 1917 and died January 20, 2015. She was a native and lifelong resident of Beaumont, a longtime “Top” volunteer at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital and a member of St. Michael’s Orthodox Christian Church where she sang in the choir.

She is survived by her sister, Christine Callas Cansler and brothers, George Abood and James Bucky Callas.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her sister, Anna Abood and brothers, Dr. Howard Callas and Dr. Gerald Callas.
