Dorothy Glenn

Dorothy "Dot" Glenn, 78, longtime resident of Orange, died Saturday, June 6, 2009, peacefully at her daughter's home in Rogers, TX.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00, Tuesday, June 9, 2009, at Dorman Cemetery. Officiating will be Reverend Joseph P. Daleo.

Visitation will be from 12:00 to 1:30, Tuesday at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Dorothy was born on January 20, 1931, in Laurel, Mississippi. She was the daughter of Oliver Wade and Ruby Quinn. Dorothy was a supervisor for Craft Oil. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, and also of the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed traveling and loved antiques.

She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Glenn and also her son, Charles Russell Glenn.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter's, Charlotte Schexnider and her husband Sabry of Rogers; DeElla Kirkpatrick and her husband Ron of DeSota; Gayle Marks and her husband Ray of Jacksonville, North Carolina; Dana Glenn of Freeport; and her son, Phillip Glenn of Freeport.

She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers will be Marzette Workman, Michael Workman, Joey Wesson, Theresa Perego, James Glenn, and William Wesson.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
