Dorothy Guidry, 64, of Mauriceville, died, Wednesday, September 26, 2007, at her residence.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 29, 2007, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange. Visitation will be from 5:00-9:00 p.m., with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Guidry was born August 28, 1943, in Mamou, LA, to Edward and Anna Rider Vidrine.

Mrs. Guidry was a member of St. Mary?s Catholic Church. She retired from Kmart after 20 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and loving husband of 46 years, Pierre U.L. Guidry.

She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Deborah Faye and Richard Dyson of Orange, daughter Kay Guidry, son Dwayne Guidry both of Mauriceville and daughter, Evelyn Haak of Palm Desert, CA; grandchildren, Ryan Guidry, Mandy Wofford, Chris Dyson, Bobbie Jo Dyson and Ike Dyson; brothers, Lionel Vidrine and Edward Vidrine Jr. and sister Joyce Eveline Vidrine.
