Dorothy Jeannette Schisler, 67, of Orange, died Friday, November 27, 2009 at Baptist Hospital in Orange.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 29, 2009, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Bridge City. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to the service time at the funeral home.

Dorothy was born September 30, 1942, in Howard County, Maryland. She was the daughter of Phillip and Helen Kaulfus Green. Dorothy never met a stranger and was a friend to all.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, Phillip and Helen Green; twin brother, James Green; and brothers, Charles Holbrook, and Bob Holbrook.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Charles R. Schisler; son and daughter-in-law, Kenny and Jane Schisler of Hanover, Pennsylvania; daughter, Charlene Stockton; daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy and

Bryan Pagel, of Mauriceville, Texas; son, Will Schisler of Orange, Texas; eleven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers will be Adam Schisler, Roland Schisler, Chuck Holbrook, Derek Pagel, Alan Green, and William Schisler.
