Dr. Frances Ann Lavergne

Dr. Frances Ann Lavergne, 68, of Tomball, Texas, died Wednesday, February 20, 2013, at her home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 25, 2013, at St. Mary Catholic Church with Reverend Joseph P. Daleo officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Orange.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Born in Orange on August 9, 1945, Frances was the daughter of Leo and Rosa Comeaux Lavergne. She received her Doctorate in Elementary Curriculum from Texas A&M University and retired from Tomball ISD where she was Director of Special Services.

Preceded in death by her parents and sister, Mariam Lincecum; Frances is survived by her sister, Alice McCray and husband, Wayne of Orange; nieces and nephews, Karen Moore, Phyllis Hamilton, Roger Lincecum, Homer Lincecum, Michael Howard, Gina Farrell and Clancey McCray; and numerous great nieces and great nephews.
