Edith J. Dixon, 57, went to be with the Lord August 15, 2013. A funeral for Edith will be held Monday, August 19, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Victory Temple Church in Beaumont with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. A gathering of family and friends will be held Sunday from 2 to 6 pm at Claybar Kelly-Watkins Funeral Home.

Edith is survived by her mother, Mary Etta Dixon; sisters, Mary Ruth and Mary B Swearingen; brothers, Bernard Walter Dixon, Jr. and Roland E Dixon and several aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces and nephews.

She was employed at Green Acres, Parkdale Nursing Home and Sam’s Club in Beaumont.

Edith will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Edie, your life was your precious mom and your wonderful Sam's Club family. It was not an easy life, but you are now in a far better place than any of us have ever known.
