Edith Mae Adams, 92, of Orange, died Friday, August 08, 2008, at Pinehurst Nursing Home.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 11, 2008, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Forest "Bo' Owens of Fairdale Baptist Church in Hemphill, TX.

Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 2:00-5:00 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home.

Edith was born on June 6, 1916, in Orange. She was the daughter of Arthur J. and Annie Belle Boswell Cochran. She enjoyed church, visiting with people and was a member of First Christian Church all of her life.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Adams and grandson, Randy Owens.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters and sons-in-law, Bonetta Smith and Arnold of Jasper and Andrea Owens and John of Mauriceville; son, Hank Adams of Orange; grandchildren, Terri Loftin, Brandy Harwell, and Derek Douga; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Bonnie Havard of Orange; and aunt, Etta Mae Craft of Wimberley.
