Mrs Shepherd & Family: I just learned of Ed's passing today at lunch at want to send my deepest sympathy to you and your family. I worked with Ed at American Valve and I wanted to let you know what a great person he was. Always going out of the way to help someone (or me) if the need arose. I had the privilege of working with Ed for many years at American Valve & Hydrant and got to know him very well when he joined our March of Dimes fundraising committee. He was a very big part of our Walk America Team and our Golf Tournament - he worked hard to help us have successful events and we all remember the downtown Walk America on a day with heavy rains and cold wind....we were freezing under the canopy and like a miracle - Ed went to his truck and got out several tarps and bungee cords and quickly, with the help of some of the other guys, put up sides on our canopy and brought us welcome relief from the cold winds! He was a man of few words, but great heart and a quick smile. He will be missed. My prayers to your family at this time of great loss.

Sis. Marsha, Kallun and Dean - so very sorry about the loss of Bro. Sheppard. It has been an honor for us to be able to visit him for several days while in St. Elizabeth. He was always such a pleasure to visit. Know that your Anchor family is here to lift you up and available for you to lean on during this time of loss. The Sheppard family is greatly loved by all at The Anchor Church of Beaumont. God's hand of peace rest on each of you. Sis. Dee Phillips
