I will miss you so very much, Uncle Eddie. I will always remember your unending love and kindness and generosity. Your smile and your laugh and your easy going nature made everybody want to be near you. Some of my favorite childhood memories took place at your beach cabin in Sandy Shores, where you spoiled us rotten and made us feel like anything was possible and the sky was the limit. You taught me so many life’s lessons there, like how to play 52 card pickup, how to catch a crab, how to drive standard on a Willys Jeep, how to eat chicken and dumplings, how to make a sunburn better, the list goes on and on. You always spoiled us rotten and made us feel so loved and special. Even when we grew up and had families of our own you continued to shower us with love. I will never forget you and will strive to show the same level of kindness and generosity that you gave so freely to all those in your life. We will miss you deeply. Love Always, Amanda McDonald Sutliff

Uncle Eddie will live in my heart forever! He was the kindest person and had a gift for making others feel welcome in his company. His beach cabin in Crystal Beach and the countless Summers we spent there shaped my childhood, and will always be some of my most treasured memories. From trips to the Yaga store, hours on the local water slide, and endless ice cream and candy runs, he spoiled us rotten and I never doubted his love for our family. He taught me how to drive a stick shift on a CJ-7 and always had the fastest and coolest Corvettes. He bought us pet ducks and hermit crabs every year, anything that would bring a smile to our faces. He was so loyal and not a year went by that he didn’t miss a Christmas or Birthday card. I will remember his laughter and smile, his gentle eyes and warm hugs. Heaven is brighter, Crystal Beach will have more vibrant sunsets, and no one will ever take the place of my sweet Uncle Eddie.-Megan McDonald Tamporello

Eddie Mac was the man that made the badge. He stood behind it and worked hard not only to find the guilty but also help them become better people. Eddie was a cop's cop and he was my good friend. RIP
