Funeral services for Edwina Royall Chapman Walton, 78, of Spurger will be held Thursday, June 19, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Spurger United Methodist Church with Reverend Vickie Simons and Chaplain Rocky Guerrero officiating. Interment will be in the Turner Branch Cemetery in Spurger. Visitation will be from 5 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home.

Mrs. Chapman-Walton was born April 4, 1930 in Houston and went to be with the Lord on June 17, 2008. She was a retired bookkeeper at Ward's Furniture in Silsbee for many years and a faithful member of Spurger United Methodist Church.

She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Elizabeth Ann and Harold Hayes,

Janet Lynn and Bill Marshall; son and daughter-in-law, Joe Royall and Bambi Chapman; five grandchildren, Cassandra Leann Kilgore and husband Benson, Alycia Nicole Finklea and husband David, Kelly D'lynn Gibson, Shane Joseph Chapman and Shannon Nicole Guarnere and husband Dustin; and five great-grandchildren, Logan, Ben, Joshua, Corlyn and Graham.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Benjamin and Annie Ayers Royall; husband of 50 years, Joe Payne Chapman; her second husband of 3 years, Richard Prentess Walton; two brothers and five sisters.

The Chapman family wishes to thank all the staff of Harbor Hospice for their loving care and compassion. Donations may be made to Spurger United Methodist Church or The Harbor Hospice Foundation.
