Elizabeth Peveto Clewis - Labrie-Claybar

Elizabeth Peveto Clewis, 98, a native and lifelong resident of the Winfree Community, died Saturday, October 27, 2007, at Orange Villa Nursing Center.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 29, 2007, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange with burial following at Winfree Cemetery in the Winfree Community.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Born on January 18, 1909, to James Monroe and Mary Ann Winfree Peveto, she was a homemaker and longtime member of Winfree Baptist Church

Preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Earl Clewis, she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Mary Peveto of the Winfree Community; nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be Derrald Flanigan,

Kenny Peveto, Leonard Peveto, Lester Freeman, Jack Cornell and Ray Cornell
