Ella Rose Greenwell Vice, 57, of Thicket, died Friday, November 7, 2008, at her residence.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 12, 2008, at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery in West Orange. Arrangements are under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Born in Ballinger on July 28, 1951, she was the daughter of Silas and Ida Atkeson. She was a former resident of Orange and was a retired teacher's aid.

Ella was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Stephen Gerald Greenwell; brothers, Paul Atkeson, Jesse Atkeson, David Atkeson; and sister, Ruth Brittain.

She is survived by her daughter, Summers Greenwell and her fiance', Neil Shull, of Portsmouth, Virginia; brother, George Atkeson and sister, Becky Byrd Davis.
