Ellen Stapleton, 82, of Beaumont, Texas passed away Thursday morning, February 3, 2011. She was born on November 24, 1928 in Beaumont, Texas.

Ellen was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Harry Stapleton Jr., grandson Jacob Chambers, grandson James Gussman, and great-grandson Ethan Verdine.

She is survived by her children, Sharon Wallace, Neda Loventhal, Linda Boyett and husband Wes, Harry Stapleton III and wife Dianne, Cindy Chambers and husband Jake, Terry Bienvenu and husband Jimmy, and Kelly Stapleton; sisters, Pat Boudreaux, Dixie Hebert and husband Richard; 25 grandchildren, Scott Bragg, Ian, Andrew, Ellen and Margaret Wallace, Tim and Chris Herrington, Tracy Braquet, Nicholas Herrington, Lindsay Spector, Wes and Brooke Boyett, Harry IV and David Stapleton, Emily Verdine, Chris Gussman, Kandi Ellis, Laci Fasulo, Russ Chambers, J., Megan, Madi and Zoe Bienvenu, Liam Sanderson, and Ella Cannon.

She is also survived by 26 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, Beaumont?s Calvary Baptist Church family, and friends.

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 7, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in the Claybar Kelley-Watkins Chapel with Reverend Richard Coward, officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be Sunday, February 6, from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
