Ellis Presley, 71, of Lumberton passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at VA Hospital in

Houston, Texas.

A Memorial Service will be held at Haven of Rest Cemetery, Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 11:00 a.m.

Ellis was born in Anona Texas and attended College of the Ozarks, in Arkansas, where he earned a

Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry with a minor in Religion. He served as a lieutenant in the United States Air Force where he served as a navigator and an instructor. He retired to Lumberton, Texas where he lived 31 years.

Ellis was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Presley; son, Ellis Patrick Presley. Surviving Ellis are his daughter, Genie Reed and her husband Jerry of Lumberton; son, Louis Presley of Houston, Texas;

step-daughters, Angie Laudig and husband, Eddie, of Lumberton, Texas, Tonya Dallison and husband, Anthony, of Fannett, Texas; 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
