Funeral services for Eloise Morris, 93, of Vidor will be held Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the Claybar Kelley-Watkins Chapel in Beaumont. Interment will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday in the Little Flock Cemetery near Bronson, Texas. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Morris was born November 6, 1919 in Sabine County, Texas to the late Robert and Inez Lawrence Truss and passed away on December 25, 2012 in Vidor. A resident of Vidor since 1992, she loved flowers and sewing.
She is survived by one son, Dalton Morris and wife, Margie of Vidor; two daughters, Drexal Henderson and husband, Fred, of Kountze, and Elaine Smith of Mauriceville; 3 grandchildren, Mona Broussard, Teresa Francis and Lori Glenn; 6 great-grandchildren, Alisa, Kameron, Tamsyn, Whitney, Chaise, Breelyn and Bryce; and one brother, Elton Truss.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Edward Morris; brother, Elray Truss; and sister, Laverne Harvey.
