Funeral services for Elvira Kelley, 61, of Vidor, Texas will be held Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the Claybar Kelley-Watkins Chapel with Reverend John S. Denmon, officiating. Interment will be at 3:00 p.m. in the Davis Cemetery in Beulah Springs.

Mrs. Kelley was born April 8, 1947 in Naples, Italy to the late Luigi and Maria Bruno and passed away at her residence January 26, 2009. A resident of Vidor for 23 years, she was the manager of Radio Shack and member of the Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Kelley of Vidor; daughters and sons-in-law, Shannon and Aaron Dixon of Evadale, Erinn and John Fowler of Vidor, Amber and George Burgar of Orange; grandchildren, Jarrod Kelley, Leena Arnold, Aaron Dixon, Cole Dixon, Alysia West, Jessie Fowler, Ranee Fowler, Kelley Burgar; and brother, Tony Bruno.

I had the pleasure of treating Mrs. Kelley at CHRISTUS St. Elizabeth. Elvira always kept me laughing. She would keep us entertained with stories from her dogs to her travel adventures.
