Era Wesson Breaux

Era Wesson Breaux, 87, of Orange, died Monday, December 5, 2009, at Harbour Hospital of Southeast Texas in Orange.

Graveside service and entombment will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 9, 2009, at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery and Mausoleum in Orange.

Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday at Claybar Funeral Home Funeral Home in Orange.

Era was born January 29, 1921 in Smith County, TX to Lonzo and Ella Lee Matthews Smith.

Era was a past member of the Eagles Auxiliary and locally owned her own beauty shop.

She was preceded in death by her first and second husbands, Doyle Wesson and Tilden Breaux, daughter, Patsy L. Wesson and brother, Lewis M. Smith.

She is survived by her son, Thomas D. Wesson and his wife Barbara of Orange; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Funchess, Michael R. Wesson, Ronald Casey, Darrell Royer and Marvin Funchess.

In lieu of flowers family has requested donations be made to Harbour Hospital of Southeast Texas, 608 Strickland Dr., Orange, TX 77630.
