Etta Pauline Baker

Funeral services for Etta Pauline Baker, 88, of Lumberton will be held Sunday, May 15, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Claybar Kelley-Watkins Chapel. Interment will follow in Leatherwood Cemetery in Loeb. Visitation will be Saturday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Baker was born May 11, 1922 in Latexo, Texas and passed away May 10, 2011 in Port Arthur. She was a retired credit clerk with Sears and a member of Woodcrest United Methodist Church in Lumberton.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph C. Baker, Sr. of Lumberton; son and daughter-in-law, Aubrey and Jean Waller of Lumberton; step-children, Joseph C. Baker and wife, Debbie, Christine Stacey, Linda Singleton and husband, Jim, Charles Baker and wife, Catherine , Beverly Lyons and husband, Mark, Tobie Baker, Johnny Baker and wife, Pam; sister, Tracy Jeanne Thompson; 15 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and friends. She was preceded in death by 3 sisters.

Aunt Polly will forever remain in our hearts. I have many childhood memories of family together at the lake or for a bar-b-que.
