Euna Mae Matthews

Euna Mae Fuselier Matthews, 64, of Orange, died Tuesday, January 27, 2009, at her residence.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 30, 2009, at Pinehurst United Pentecostal Church. Reverend Bill Smith will officiate. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves.

Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Euna Mae was born November 7, 1944, in Ville Platte, LA, to Loisy V. and Euna V. Vidrine Fuselier.

Euna was a homemaker and a member of Pinehurst United Pentecostal Church. She was a Sunday School teacher for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Loisy and Euna Fuselier, sisters, Ella Eubanks and Dorothy Hebert.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, David Matthews, sons, Michael Matthews and wife Karen of Canada, David V. Matthews of Hagerstown, MD and daughter, Brenda Foreman and husband Gary of Orange; grandchildren, Elizabeth Williamson, Kristin Menard, Corey Foreman and Jessica Matthews; three great grandchildren; and sister, Edith "Dolly" Willis of Port Arthur.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jack Eubanks, Gary Foreman, Corey Foreman, David V. Matthews, Michael Matthews and Andrew Menard.
