E. W. Jolly

Funeral services for E.W. "Bob" Jolly, 80, of Beaumont, will be held Saturday, April 2, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Chapel with Dr. Nathan Cothen officiating. Interment will follow at Haven of Rest Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.

Bob was born June 10, 1930 in Irondale, Alabama to the late N.B. and Mable Claire Dodgen Jolly and passed away March 29, 2011 at Baptist Hospital. A resident of Beaumont for 43 years, Bob was a retired Division Supervisor with Reagent Chemical and attended Calvary Baptist Church. He was a devoted husband and a wonderful father and grandfather. Bob was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors.

Those left to cherish his memory include three daughters and sons-in-law, Norma and Joel Ford, Dianne and Ricky Davis and Debbie and Mike Gentry; one son and daughter-in-law, Gene and Laura Jolly; eleven grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; two sisters, Judy Jolly and Lilla Easter; three brothers, David Jolly, Harold Lowe and Bobby Lowe, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Earline Jolly.

Dear Diane, Rick and family. I was so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. I know he was a kind and compassionate man. Sorry I will be unable to attend the service but I would like you to know we did enjoy having him visit with us and attend trips with the Seniors at First Baptist in Mauriceville. He will be missed.
