Faye A. DuBois, 78, of Bridge City, Texas, died on August 23, 2009 at her home.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 27, 2009, at Winfree Baptist Church in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Keith Royal. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m., Wednesday, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Bridge City.

Faye was born on September, 24, 1930, in Vernon Parish, Louisiana. She is the daughter of Elmer and Myrtie Weeks Deon. Faye was an active member of Winfree Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, H.C. "Skinny" DuBois; son, Chris DuBois; son-in-law, Bobby Dressler; grandson, Corey DuBois; two brothers; and her sister.

Survivors include daughter, Karen D. "Susie" Dressler of Bridge City; sons and daughters-in-law, Rickey and Sue DuBois of Orangefield, and Dwayne and Cristal DuBois of Bridge City; daughters and son-in-laws, Melinda A. and Steve Sanders of Orange, and Melanie and Michael Lafleur of Orangefield; grandchildren, Brandi and Brian Dressler, Aaron and Keith DuBois, Jill S. Carpenter, Josh Sanders, Shanna, Jody, and Christi DuBois; nineteen great- grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Larry Cavanaugh of Bishop, Texas.

Serving as pallbearers will be Shannon Buckley, Keith DuBois, Aaron Dubois, Michael Lafleur, Jody DuBois, and Dwayne DuBois.

Honorary pallbearers will be Brian Dressler, Joshua Sanders, and Cameron Lafleur.
