Felicia "Shelly" McCaughn

Felicia "Shelly" McCaughn passed away peacefully in her sleep September 2, 2010. Shelly, as she was known to all who knew and loved her, was born March 10, 1974, in Austin, Texas, to Thomas Larry and Paula Sue McCaughn.

Funeral Services are set for Monday, September 6, 2010 at 10 a.m. in the chapel at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home with internment to follow at Magnolia Cemetery.

A gathering of friends and family will be held Sunday, September 5, 2010, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Shelly was passionate about many things in her life, but most of all her children and grandchildren. She was an alumni of Little-Cypress Mauriceville High School, class of 1992, and a former employee of Orange County Sheriff's Department and Brent Coon and Assc. At the time of her death she was employed by Monument Constructors. She loved her family and friends and was loved in return. Many will remember her as being, "just Shelly"

Surviving Shelly are her parents; husband, Gregory Nowell; her daughters Cadence "Pooter" Nowell and Candice Patrick and husband, Wesley Norton, Jr.; her son Charles Nowell; grandson, Ezra Norton; brothers, Thomas A. McCaughn, John Paul McCaughn; sister, Tinicia Fuston and a large extended family.
