Flora Wolfe McClure, 101 of Beaumont, was born Sept. 13, 1913 in Spartanburg, SC and passed away Jan. 3, 2015 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. A gathering of family and friends will be held Monday evening from 5-6:00 p.m. at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home. Additional services will be held at JR Floyd Funeral Home in Spartanburg, SC at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Spartanburg.
Mrs. McClure was a homemaker, member of Morningside Baptist Church in Spartanburg, SC and the Eastern Star Tallulah Chapter #16.
Mrs. McClure is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Shelton and Joyce McClure of Beaumont; 3 grandchildren, Shelley Evans and husband, Chris, Susan Dempsey and husband, Chris, Rhett Cody and wife, Dawn; 5 great-grandchildren, Ashton, Carson, Bryson, Morgan, Jacob; and 2 sisters and brothers-in-law, Cirrie and Bill Kendall and Peggy and Don Morgan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles S. McClure; parents, Roy and Ottie Mae Wolfe; brother, Roy Wolfe: and sisters, Ethel Caudle, Vernell McGinn, Thelma Berryhill and Lula Whitlock.
