Forrest Wayne Hext, 85, passed away July 8, 2012. He was born September 11, 1926 to Beemon and Altha Hext in Beaumont, TX. A celebration of his life will be held, July 11, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Sabine Tabernacle with a gathering of family and friends immediately prior to the service at 12:30 p.m. Interment will follow at Little Hope Cemetery in Jasper County.

Forrest worked doing inside sales for Standard Brass, Norvell Wilder, and Greson. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; sons, Ronald and his wife, Wendy, and Craig; daughter, Fay Koupal and her husband, Bob, and granddaughter, Olivia.
