Frances Ann Hammett, 68, died November 21, 2008 at her home. Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM Tuesday, November 25, 2008, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City, Texas. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Garden Cemetery near Bridge City. Visitation will be 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM Monday, November 24, 2008, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City. Mrs. Hammett was born to J.D. and Irene Brownlee November 30, 1939, in West Monroe, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her brother Charles Brownlee who resided with her in Bridge City. She is also survived by her daughters Maria Garretta and husband, Donnie, of Omaha, Nebraska, Charlene Warren and husband, Michael, of Bridge City, and Kathi Wilson of Bridge City; son Gean Hammett, Jr. and wife Sammy of West Orange, 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Michael Warren, Clay Bradshaw, Preston Parr, Elder Gean Hammett, III, Chad Perkins, and Aaron Warren.
