Frances Dolores Baker, 82, of Lumberton, TX passed away Friday, May 24, 2013 at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont, TX.
A memorial service celebrating her life will be held, Thursday, May 30, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home. Interment will follow at 4:00 p.m. in Smyrna, TX.
Mrs. Baker devoted her life to her family. She taught all whose lives she touched, that the most important thing any one person can do, is to love unconditionally.
Surviving Mrs. Baker are her son, Jefferson Davis J.D.Baker, Jr. and his wife, Sharon, of Vidor, TX; daughter, Pixie Dattalo and her husband, Michael, of Angleton, TX; grandsons, Trey Dattalo, Jeffrey Baker and Ryan Dattalo; great-grandchildren, Jack Baker and Allison Baker; brothers Donnell Ramsey and his wife, Barbara, of Nederland, TX. and James S. Ramsey and his wife, Sharon, of Nacogdoches, TX; and her special friend Lois D. Malley and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oye David and Clara Bell Sullivan Ramsey, her husband, Jefferson Davis Baker, Sr. and her brother, Toby Ramsey.
Those who wish may make contributions in memory of Mrs. Baker to either the March of Dimes or St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Memphis, TN.
