Frances Josephine Poole, 92, of Orange died February 7, 2009.

Funeral services will be at 2:00p.m., Monday, February 9, 2009 at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Reverend Barry Bradley will be officiating.

Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home.

Jo was born on May 1, 1916 in Orange. She was the daughter of William L. and Sarah Cunningham Shepherd. Jo was a school teacher for Orange and Vidor ISD.

She is preceded in death by her son, Michael P. Poole; husband, Paul Poole; brother, Guilford Shepherd; and parents, William and Sarah Shepherd.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Barbara Lockridge of Los Angeles, CA; grandchildren, Shannon Price and Natasha Edelman; great-grandchild, Shelby Price; sister, Laura Crain; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank her caregivers at Golden Years for their love and kindness.
