Frances Lydia McCraw Mills, 66, of Bridge City died peacefully on Sunday, March 16, 2008, at her residence.

A Memorial Gathering will be held form 5:00-7:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 18, 2008, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Bridge City.

Frances was born on August 6, 1941, in DeRidder, LA to John Vivian and Elvie Ora Bailey McCraw. Frances was a retired bookkeeper at Saltzman Paint and Body.

She was preceded in a death by her parents, husband, Donald Ray Mills and sister, Kaye Collins.

Frances is survived by her sons, Donald Ray Mills, Jr. and wife Regina of Bridge City, John Mills and Jeanette McKinley of Bridge City, Jarrod Mills and wife Patti of Spring, daughters, Theresa Blanchard and husband, Ted of Bridge City, Cyndi Updike and husband Tim of BridgeCity and Carol Jara and husband Pablo of Katy.

Also surviving Frances are her 14 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, brother Charles McCraw and sister, Beverly Gragg and husband Raymond both of DeRidder, LA.
