Frances Lorena McDaniel Strachn, 87, was born September 8, 1924 to George and Addie Stevens McDaniel in Beaumont. She currently resided and passed away January 27, 2012 in Irving, TX. Visitation will be on Saturday, February 4 from 12:00 – 1:00 PM at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home prior to the graveside service at 2:00 PM at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont.

Frances is survived by her sons, Paul Strachn and wife, Rose of Grand Prairie, TX, Jay Strachn and wife, Lori of Bay City, TX and daughter Rebekah Strachn of Austin, TX; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and her brother, George McDaniel of Bailey, CO. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence H. Strachn Jr. and her parents.
