Earline Broussard Van Pelt, 86, of Beaumont, passed away Monday, May 19, 2014. She was born May 10, 1928 to Earl and Pearlie Goddard. A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, May 24, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with a service celebrating her life to follow at 12:00 p.m. at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home, 1155 N. 11th . Beaumont, TX. Interment will follow at 3:00 p.m. in Zion Hill Cemetery outside of Jasper, TX.

Earline is survived by her sons, Ronnie Earl Broussard and his wife, Bonnie, of Sugar Land, TX, Gary Lynn Broussard and his wife, Norma, of Beaumont, TX, Steven Harris Broussard and his wife, Tracy, of Las Vegas, NV; 5 grandchildren, Benjamin Isaac Broussard and his wife, Brenda, Jonathan Lynn Broussard and his wife, McKenzie, Meagan Elizabeth Broussard, James Lloyd Broussard, and Dr. Hannah Broussard and her husband, James; 4 great-grandchildren, Mia Ray Broussard, Laney Brooke Broussard, Isabella Olivia Nava, and Beckett James Broussard; sisters, Shirley Ruth Ramey, of Port Neches, TX and Elaine Picou, of LaBelle, TX; and her care-giver and friend, Lois Malley.
