Funeral services for Frank Stokes, 65, of Beaumont, will be held Thursday, March 25, 2010, 2:00 p.m. in the Claybar Kelley-Watkins Chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Mr. Stokes was born April 23, 1944, in Mobile, AL to Ernest and Nell Stokes and passed away March 22, 2010, in Beaumont.

He served his country in the U.S. Army and will be remembered by many from his 30 years as a teacher and principal at both South Park and BISD.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Cynthia Stokes; son, Scott Stokes of Beaumont; daughter, Rachel Blakeney and husband, Ethan, of Kountze; grandson Mason Blakeney; and brother, J. T. Oliver.
