Gail Siddall Reasonover

Gail Siddall Reasonover, 69, of Orange, died Wednesday, March 26, 2008, at Baptist Hospital in Orange.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange, with the Reverend Terry Brown, associate pastor of First United Methodist Church in Orange, officiating.

A graveside service and interment will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Galveston Memorial Park in Hitchcock, with Reverend Rob Fisher, pastor of First United Methodist Church in Orange, officiating.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Born in Cisco on October 10, 1938, she was the daughter of Carl L. and Faye Clark Siddall, Sr.

Mrs. Reasonover had been a resident of Orange for the past 34 years, was a Licensed Vocational Nurse and had worked at Orange Memorial Hospital and Americare Nursing Professionals.

She was a member of the Order of Rainbow for

Girls; Chapter 214, Order of the Eastern Star; Daughter's of the Nile; Social Order of Beauceant; First United Methodist Church in Orange; and she was a 1978 graduate of Lamar University School of nursing.

Mrs. Reasonover was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Faye Siddall, Sr. and brother, Carl L. Siddall, Jr.

She is survived by her husband, Donald E. Reasonover, Sr. of Orange; son, Donald E. Reasonover, Jr. and his wife, Donna, of Ottawa, Illinois; daughter, Debra Gail Reasonover and her partner, Alice Mize, of Houston; grandchildren, Tara Braddock, Jeff Braddock, Melissa Brashear and Ronnie Cole, Danny Brashear, and Jennifer Aery and her husband, Jacob; and ten great grandchildren.

Also surviving is her brother, Lon Y. Siddall, II, and his wife, Marcia, of Freeport; and sister-in-law, Wanda Siddall, of Decatur, Alabama.

I worked with Gail in the ICU at Orange Hospital for many years back in the 80's. She was a highly competent nurse and always gave 100% to her patients. I personally had the opportunity to meet Gail once, some time ago. Such a sweet lady. We know she is in a place where there are no more sorrows, no more pain or headaches.
